in case you didn’t know, there is a new dance craze called “getting lite”
it’s pretty hot, kinda vogue-ing mixed with holding your foot and taking off your shoe and answering it like a telephone or something! all done to a handclappy type “lip gloss” lil mama beat. which i love!
in other news, there was an outlaw party underneath my house at dunkin doughnuts. so fantastic to see the freaks like amanda lapore, cazwell, and club kids in crazy costumes in the florescent lights of my friendly neighborhood dunkin. people were really wondering what the hell was going on. an old man stopped me and asked me, “what’s going on? are they gay?”
that was funny.
i guess they were honoring michael alig’s infamous outlaw doughnut party.
why was i there? i had just had dinner with 3 fabulous vegan ladies, chloe jo of girlie girl army; elizabeth olsen of olsenhaus shoes; and gabrielle brick at candle 79 (amazing food!) and i was going to the blockbuster next door to the dunkin to rent season 4 of weeds. (you wouldn’t believe i live on the lower east side and have a dunkin and blockbuster my house but alas i do, and it makes me want to move into the woods!!)
yes i have thrown out my tv but i am inexplicably obsessed with the show weeds. it’s amazing.
ok i am off to the beach now, jones beach to be exact.
all these things=why i love new york! NYC RULES.
except, i am missing nature bigtime lately.
