damnit i have to postpone the release of my opus ‘the new evolution’ (is it grandiose to say “opus”? or does it just mean “work”? anyway it’s my best album ever so i’m calling it opus!)did you hear that the PIAS factory burned to the ground in a fire from london looters? that’s part of the reason. the other part is that it’s just plain tough as an independent artist these days in the music industry.
you know i am not just gonna give my album to anyone or take any old deal. i need a label/people who really get where i am coming from; who understand my vision and who will put their money where their mouth is! so i am being patient- and also got my hustle on to find it!
i especially feel beholden to my pledgers who paid for the album to be made. well it’s made now we just gotta get it out!! you guys will be the first to get it i promise.
so keep checking back here. in the meantime soon i will post some very adorable baby pictures of my daughter siren who is continually blowing my mind!
