Rarely a second passes on Princess Superstar's excellent fourth album without the New Yorker impressing with her dazzling lyrical flow. Fresh and funny, Concetta Kirschner's sassy, prurient caricature provides the ideal antidote to mainstream rap's boorish posturing. Hip-hop in attitude, if not exclusively in sound, La Princess reigns over her vibrant cartoon world with humour and integrity, and procures priceless cameos from Kool Keith (talking surreal sex on Keith 'N Me), the High & Mighty, Beth Orton and Jzone. "Everyone tells me I'm the female Eminem—well all I'm gonna talk about is getting fucked up the ass then." That's Miss P... so seductive.
